Guidelines
- The purpose of this Fair is to promote quality summer programs. We expect all exhibitors to offer professional and tasteful presentations and to show respect to the other exhibitors and fair goers.
- No raffles, hawking, obtrusive giveaways, helium-filled balloons, food, dangerous program equipment (such as pocket knives, bull whips, ropes, etc.) or other means of attracting undue attention will be permitted.
- No solicitations in aisles or hallways will be permitted. Please do not conduct individual or group meetings with prospective clients outside your assigned exhibit space during Fair hours.
- Exhibitors using audio equipment must keep the volume at a level that will not disturb other exhibitors.
- Use of live animals in exhibits is strictly prohibited! The use of balloons, sand and confetti are not permitted in the exhibits. Guns and other concealed weapons are prohibited.
- Exhibitors must limit their displays to their assigned spaces. Equipment and freestanding displays that extend outside their exhibition space, whether into a neighbor's space or into the aisle, are not allowed.
- No coffee pots, plate warmers, or other small appliances may be used due to electrical restrictions. Coffee and hot water are available in the exhibitors' lounge.
- Remember to bring a surge protector, masking tape, scissors, electric extension cord, projection equipment and screen, extra projection bulbs, magic markers, push pins, and whatever else you may need to prepare your exhibit.
- No copy machines will be available on site. The nearest FedEx/Kinko’s is located at 8805 Ladue Road St. Louis, MO 63124. For more information, call 314-725-8704.
- Be sure to bring plenty of brochures. If you would like to ship brochures ahead of time, we will be happy to store them at Mary Institute and St. Louis Country Day School after January 15, 2011. Please mail them to: Summer Opportunities Fair 2010 c/o MICDS,101 North Warson Road, St. Louis, Missouri 63124. They must arrive no later than Wednesday, January 27, 2010. Remember to write your camp name and Summer Opportunites Fair on the outside of the package to ensure it is delivered to the right department.
- Exhibitors who violate Fair guidelines will be asked to leave with no refund of registration fees or any other expenses incurred in conjunction with the Fair.
